Overview

  • Location: Roberts Hollow Road between Hayden Boulevard (Route 51) and Wall Road in Forward
  • Traffic restrictions: Full closure of Roberts Hollow Road between Hayden Boulevard (Route 51) and Wall Road. Also, Warren Hill Road is fully closed. Residents who live on Roberts Hollow Road and Warren Hill Road will continue to have access to their homes at all times, and drivers will still be able to access the businesses on Roberts Hollow Road. Drivers will not be able to drive through the intersection of Roberts Hollow Road and Warren Hill Road or through the work zone on Roberts Hollow Road just south of Warren Hill Road.

  • Estimated traffic restrictions end date: December 2025
  • Scope of work: Replacement of Fallen Timber Run Bridges Nos. 5, 6, and 7, including roadway work, utility work, new pavement markings, and guide rail replacement
  • Bridges summary: Fallen Timber Run Bridges Nos. 5, 6, and 7 carry an average of 1,726 vehicles daily over Fallen Timber Run. They each have a bridge condition rating of 4 (poor condition) on a 0-9 scale based on National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) established by the Federal Highway Administration. Southbound toward Wall Road

  • From Hayden Boulevard (Route 51), turn right onto Hutchinson Road
  • Turn right onto Mentor Road
  • Turn right onto Roberts Hollow Road (if needed)

Northbound toward Hayden Boulevard (Route 51)

  • Same as the southbound detour in the opposite direction

Warren Hill Road Detour

Westbound toward Williamsport Road

  • From Hayden Boulevard (Route 51), turn right onto Hutchinson Road
  • Turn right onto Mentor Road
  • Turn right onto Roberts Hollow Road
  • Turn left onto Wall Road
  • Turn right onto Williamsport Road

Eastbound toward Roberts Hollow Road

  • Same as the westbound detour in the opposite direction

    Drivers at Roberts Hollow Road at Warren Hill Road can travel north on Roberts Hollow Road to reach Route 51 (Hayden Boulevard). From Roberts Hollow Road at Wall Road, drivers can reach Route 51 by using Mentor Road and Hutchinson Road.

    Local municipalities are responsible for the installation of new traffic signals regardless of which entity owns the road. If you think a traffic signal would improve safety at Hutchinson Road and Route 51, we suggest you reach out to Forward Township at 412-384-1761.
