Overview

  • Location: Roberts Hollow Road between Hayden Boulevard (Route 51) and Wall Road in Forward
  • Traffic restrictions: During construction on Fallen Timber Run Bridges Nos. 5 and 7, Roberts Hollow Road will be closed between Warren Hill Road and Wall Road. During construction on Fallen Timber Run Bridge No. 6, Roberts Hollow Road will be closed between Hayden Boulevard (Route 51) and Wall Road. Residents living within the closure areas will be able to access their homes at all times, and drivers will be able to access the businesses located within the closure areas. However, drivers will not be able to pass through work zones.

They each have a bridge condition rating of 4 (poor condition) on a 0-9 scale based on National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) established by the Federal Highway Administration. Detour

Northbound toward Hayden Boulevard (Route 51)

  • From Roberts Hollow Road, turn right onto Hayden Boulevard (Route 51)
  • Turn right onto Hutchinson Road
  • Turn right onto Mentor Road
  • Turn right onto Roberts Hollow Road (if needed)

Southbound toward Wall Road

  • Same as the northbound detour in the opposite direction

    Roberts Hollow Road between Warren Hill Road and Wall Road in Forward will close starting at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 10, 2025. The closure is expected to end in May. It is required to replace Fallen Timber Run Bridge No. 5, including roadway work, utility work, new pavement markings, and guide rail replacement.

    Traffic will be detoured using Hayden Boulevard (Route 51), Hutchinson Road, and Mentor Road. Residents living within the closure area will be able to access their homes at all times, and drivers will be able to access the businesses located within the closure area. However, drivers will not be able to pass through the work zone near Mountaintop Lane.

    After work on Fallen Timber Run Bridge No. 5 is completed, Roberts Hollow Road will remain closed between Warren Hill Road and Wall Road to replace Fallen Timber Run Bridge No. 7. That work is expected to take place from May through August.

    After work on Fallen Timber Run Bridge No. 7 is completed, Roberts Hollow Road will close between Hayden Boulevard (Route 51) and Wall Road to replace Fallen Timber Run Bridge No. 6. That work is expected to take place from August through November.

    Pugliano Construction Company of Plum will do the work on all three bridges as part of a $1.4 million contract.
